Everfound

Frequently asked questions

The basics

What does Everfound actually measure?

Whether the AI assistants people now ask — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, and Google’s AI Overviews — find your site, mention it, and cite it when someone asks a question your business should answer. You get a readiness score, the verbatim answer each engine gave, and a ranked list of what to fix.

How is this different from SEO or my Google ranking?

SEO is about ranking blue links. Everfound is about what the AI says when there are no links — whether an assistant names you, points to a competitor, or gets you wrong. Related, but not the same: a site can rank on page one of Google and still be invisible to ChatGPT.

Which AI engines do you check?

Six: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. Every audit runs your questions across all six and shows each one’s answer and citations, side by side.

Getting started

Is the preview really free?

Yes. Enter your URL and we scan your site, build a profile of what AI can understand, and show you your single biggest gap plus a live read from AI — no card. The full report (all six engines, every answer, the optimization kit) is the paid audit.

What do I get in a paid audit?

$99 for the whole loop: every engine’s full answer and citations, your share of mentions versus competitors, in-answer rank and sentiment, flags when AI states something false about you, a schema/JSON-LD verdict, ready-to-use assets (answer box, FAQ, llms.txt), and a ranked action list. It includes two credits — one for the first audit, one for the re-audit — so you can prove the fixes worked.

Do I have to implement the fixes myself?

Only if you want to do it by hand. Every gap comes with a prompt already filled in with your site’s real details — paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor and it writes the change (the schema, the answer copy, the FAQ). Mark each item shipped, and your re-audit confirms whether it moved the needle.

Trust & accuracy

AI answers change every time — how can you measure this?

They do vary, which is exactly why one check isn’t enough. We run each question multiple times and across all six engines, so your score reflects a pattern, not one lucky or unlucky answer. Monitoring then re-runs the whole thing weekly, so you’re watching a trend instead of a snapshot.

Can AI really get facts about my business wrong?

Regularly — the wrong price, a feature you don’t offer, an out-of-date claim. Everfound flags exactly what was said and on which engine, so you can correct the source before it spreads to more answers.

Can you guarantee I’ll show up in ChatGPT?

No — and be skeptical of anyone who promises that. The engines decide what to say based on your authority, your data, and their own models, which no tool controls. What we do is make you eligible and measurable: fix what’s in your control, show you the evidence, and track whether it’s working.

My site is brand new — is it worth auditing?

Yes for the diagnosis, with realistic expectations. New sites usually score low on outside authority (mentions and citations across the web), and that takes real-world time to build — no tool shortcuts it. The audit tells you what’s fixable now (structure, schema, answer content) versus what needs time.

Plans & billing

What’s monitoring, and do I need it?

AI answers drift as engines re-crawl and update. Monitoring re-runs your full audit every week across all six engines and emails you the week your visibility moves, with an engine-by-engine breakdown. It’s per site, and the first month is included with every audit — so you see the value before you pay for it.

I manage a lot of sites — how does that work?

One account covers every site, each with its own score and history. Monitoring is priced per site, and the rate on each added site drops as you grow. Agencies can also buy audit credits in packs and spend them across any client site.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — manage or cancel from the billing portal in your account, no email required.

What’s your refund policy?

Refunds follow our refund policy — read the full terms there, or reach out to support and we’ll help you sort it out.
